Representative Michael McCaul of Texas has announced that the Taliban are holding Americans and Afghan interpreters hostage at Mazar-i-Sharif International Airport in Afghanistan.
According to McCaul (who made his comments on Fox News), the Taliban is keeping six planes filled with Americans and Afghan allies from leaving Afghanistan.
The Taliban will not let the Americans free until their demands are met, but as of right now, it hasn’t been reported what those demands consist of. Representative Michael McCaul is part of the House Foreign Affairs Committee.
Therefore, his words should not be taken lightly; he has been working non-stop taking calls from Americans and Afghans who are trapped in Afghanistan.

The State Department is Trusting the Taliban
The State Department has cleared charter flights to leave Afghanistan, but the major problem is the Taliban isn’t letting charter flights leave the country. In a statement concerning the six planes of Americans held hostage at Mazar-i-Sharif International Airport, the State Department declared they have no assets on the ground.
Therefore, as of right now, those who are boarding charter flights must cooperate with the Taliban. The State Department further explained they have no details about current charter flights coming in and out of the country; they also don’t have details on the Americans who are being held hostage at the airport.
Taliban Kills Policewoman in Front of Her Family
While the United States government is trying to portray the Taliban as trustworthy, the Taliban is slaying innocent women, men, and children. A breaking report by BBC declared yesterday, the Taliban killed a pregnant policewoman in front of her family. The pregnant women’s name was in the providence of Ghor.
After claiming power over Afghanistan, the Taliban claimed they would respect women’s rights. Yet, the day after they ascended to power, they killed a woman in Takhar province because she didn’t wear a burqa.
A Women Killed by Afghan in Germany
A 29-year-old Afghan man in Germany killed an old lady last Saturday after he felt annoyed that a woman was working. As of now, it’s unknown if he has ties to the Taliban but it’s believed he does have some connection to them, considering his ideology matches the terrorist group’s.

According to a German police report the 29-year-old Afghan stabbed a 58-year-old landscape worker in the neck. The stabbing took place at a Berlin park and he was later taken into custody.
The U.S. is planning to release over 50,000 unvetted Afghan citizens into the United States. However, this plan is causing major security concerns. Likewise, after hearing about what just happened in Germany, women will be the ones who are most in danger.
Of course, amid all this, the Biden administration is nowhere to be found.
