Biden Told Trump He Was ‘Lucky’ to Survive Assassination Attempt

In a startling revelation, President Joe Biden reportedly told former President Donald Trump that he was "lucky to be alive" after surviving an assassination attempt at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. The incident, which took place on July 13, 2024, saw 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks open fire, injuring Trump and several others, and killing one spectator.

Trump was grazed by a bullet in the ear during the attack, but quick action by a Secret Service sniper neutralized the threat with a precision shot that was described as "one in a million". Two other individuals, James Copenhaver and David Dutch, who were wounded during the shooting, are now in serious but stable condition.

The aftermath of the attack saw Biden reaching out to Trump. The President's phone call was described as cordial, with Biden expressing relief over Trump's survival and emphasizing the fortunate outcome amid the tragic event.

The attempted assassination has significantly impacted Trump, who mentioned in his revised speech at the Republican National Convention that he felt he had been given another chance to achieve something great. He highlighted a theme of unity in the wake of the tragedy, echoing sentiments shared by supporters like Dr. Ben Carson.

Investigations revealed that Crooks had meticulously planned the attack, using a drone to survey the rally grounds beforehand. The drone's flight path suggested multiple reconnaissance missions prior to the event, indicating a high level of premeditation.

The shooting has raised serious concerns about the security measures in place at political events. The Secret Service has come under scrutiny for what has been termed a failed security plan, despite the presence of Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) agents supporting the Secret Service during the rally.

In response to the incident, Trump has continued his campaign, undeterred by the assassination attempt, using the experience to galvanize his supporters and underscore the risks he faces while running for office. The rally in Butler has become a poignant moment in his campaign, symbolizing both the dangers of political violence and the resilience of his bid for the presidency.

The broader implications of this event extend to the national political climate, as security concerns for political figures are heightened. The Secret Service and other protective agencies are likely to reevaluate and strengthen their protocols to prevent such incidents in the future. As the 2024 election approaches, the safety of candidates remains a paramount concern for both parties and the American public.

  1. Biden is a Catholic, but apparently, he’s not thinking in terms of TRUMP WAS BLESSED BY GOD… Obviously, it had NOTHING at all to do with mere “luck”… It was plainly a modern-day miracle directly from GOD’s angel who had charge over TRUMP at that very minute….He did turn his head and the whole thing was a modern-day supernatural event and anyone who believe in GOD would know this automatically… There is NO such thing as luck at a moment so crucial to one’s life…
It was a NOW or NEVER incident and GOD was the master planner…and problem solver!!!

Hopefully Trump realizes this was FAR MORE than just what we call “luck”… It was actually a life changing event in which he should be very grateful and be thanking GOD it turned out as it did… Otherwise, he is just being arrogant and foolish and believing in luck…Those who care about this situation need to be thankful he is still with us to carry on and that nothing like this will happen again… We MUST have HOPE for a better future…

  2. The Liberals tried 3 times to impeach DJT, use the court system to bring charges that even the Feds said weren’t any good, (Liberals Feds even), used charges that the used by date had passed, and now the assassination attempt. What will you Liberals use next?

  3. I for one, had hoped for this incident, even though supposedly unplanned by the Opposing Party, might change the rhetoric and cause politicians, on both sides, to reconsider their negative thrust and resort to more positive talking points that could cause people to vote for the candidate that has positive ideas and does not just slander the other side.
I must admit that the bad mouthing that happens at these rallies is becoming pretty stale and more difficult to stomach as we get closer to the election.
May the God that saved the life of former President Trump forgive us and may He help us in finding more positive ways of blowing our horns.
