President Trump’s rally in Wellington, Ohio was absolutely electric. Before Trump even took the stage, thousands of Trump supporters waited outside of the venue to get a good glimpse of Trump in his first rally since January 6th.
Trump started off his speech by talking about the alleged election fraud that occurred in the 2020 presidential election. According to Reuters, he told his supporters we won two elections and it’s quite possible we’ll have to win it a third time.
The 45th president went on to blast the Biden administration for their weak policies on immigration; Trump then explained how Biden is doing the exact opposite of what he did while in office and is letting millions of illegal immigrants into the United States.
The crowd itself had a lot to say during the rally too. Just hours before Trump took the stage in unison the large crowd at Wellington chanted “Trump Won”. Later on, while Trump was talking about the fake news media, the crowd erupted again this time with “CNN sucks” chants.
Trump Called Out Woke Generals
The Biden administration weren’t the only people who were called out; Trump also called out “woke generals” who are pushing critical race theory. While having the crowd’s full attention, Trump stated that certain high military officials have gone to the “other side” and are now trying to brainwash soldiers with Marxist propaganda.
One of the generals Trump was referring to was Joints Chief of Staff Gen. Mark Milley. Recently at a House Armed Service Committee Gen. Milley defended critical race theory and stated that it was important to understand and to teach it.
Taking Back the House From Democrats and RINOS
The highlight of the night was when Trump blasted Ohio Rep. Anthony Gonzalez for voting to impeach him. Trump stated that Gonzalez was a fake Republican and a disgrace to the state of Ohio for voting against him in an unconstitutional sham impeachment trial. He then proceeded to take more jabs at Gonzales and said that the representative would beg him to ride in Air Force One whenever Trump took visits to Ohio.
Trump also used his time to praise one of his former aides Max Miller, who is looking to unseat Rep. Gonzalez in the 2022 primaries. Max Miller took the stage Saturday night too and went on record saying that Trump was his role model.
If Trump’s rally in Ohio showed us anything, it’s that he still holds the Republican Party in the palms of his hands. That wasn’t it, though; the rally also revealed that Trump hasn’t forgotten about those who voted to impeach him either and is looking to replace every single one of them.
