President Trump just announced Trump Media & Technology Group is in the midst of launching a new social media platform called TRUTH Social.
As of right now, TRUTH Social is available for pre-order on the Apple App store; it will soon be on the Google Play Store also.
The domain Truthsocial.com currently takes you to Trump’s new social media platform. It is allowing users to sign up in advance for its beta launch coming in November. The full scale launch will begin in 2022, towards the beginning of the new year.

More Details Behind Trump’s New Site
Trump sits as the chairman of TMTG (Trump Media & Technology Group). He also stated he created TRUTH Social as a way to fight against big tech’s tyranny.
Trump then went on to say the Taliban can freely tweet on Twitter, but as the president of the United States, he was banned from the platform, which is 100% unacceptable. Trump then noted TRUTH Social will give a voice back to himself and also others who are banned from social media sites like Twitter and Facebook.
There’s not much detail on what the interface’s appearance will look like. However, it’s believed to have a Navy blue theme and the functions will be be similar to Twitter, except there will be no censoring of any voices.
Trump Media & Technology Group will partner up with Digital Acquisition Corporation, which will ultimately lead to TMTG being listed as a public company. TMTG is valued at $825 million. It is expected to have a cumulative valuation of $1.7 billion after being officially listed as a public stock.

Trump Taking Practical Steps to Defeat Censorship
In a capitalist society, if you don’t like a product or service, you can just create your own. Unfortunately, not all of us have the resources, so if we get banned from Twitter or Facebook, we will find ourselves isolated in the digital sphere.
However, Trump does have resources and is looking to give big tech companies like Facebook and Twitter a run for their money. Many people questioned why Trump never joined social media sites such as Gab or Parler, but now, it’s very clear he was creating his own social media platform the entire time.
It will be interesting to see if Trump’s new site is the next big thing. Some people are expecting it to be a let down, but others have more expectations for the site, due to a large amount of money being put towards the new platform.
Trump has a large following, so there’s no doubt it will be a success. Let’s just hope the technological part of the site is up to speed, because the far-left will attempt to hack the site the minute it launches.
