Hundreds of supporters of former President Trump gathered along the highway in Palm Beach leading to Palm Beach International Airport.
Flags supporting the former president waved proudly on Monday morning over in West Palm Beach, as supporters line up along the roadway hoping to catch a glimpse of Trump riding in his motorcade en route to the airport.
Trump departed from his Mar-a-Lago residence, heading to New York to turn himself in on criminal charges related to alleged 2016 hush money payments to adult film actress Stormy Daniels.

Trump Supporters Rally for the Former President
Supporter Jim Ruff expressed his sentiments, stating, “I’m just down here supporting my president. God bless Donald Trump.”
John Fischer, another supporter and a member of a group of Firefighters and Police in Florida supporting Trump said, “He’s on his way to New York, which is a big sham, and we feel he needs some support.”

Shortly after noon, Trump’s motorcade departed Palm Beach, driving up Southern Boulevard and past his cheering supporters.
The motorcade continued to the International Airport in Palm Beach where a Boeing 757 of Trump awaited to fly him to New York City.
Fischer expressed his optimism, saying, “I believe absolutely nothing is going to happen, but his numbers, every time he is attacked, his numbers go up, so that’s the positive side.”
Ruff expressed his hopes, saying, “What I’m hoping for is that we get him back in office. That’s what every good American needs.”
Mixed Reactions to Trump’s Indictment in Palm Beach
However, not everyone in the Palm Beach area shared this sentiment.
Some passersby supported the indictment and were highly critical of the former president and his behavior. Trump is anticipated to return to Palm Beach on Tuesday night and address the media.
Likewise, Trump is scheduled to appear in a New York City court for an arraignment on Tuesday, following his indictment by a Manhattan grand jury last week.
Donald Trump is the first former U.S. president to be indicted.
