Not knowing the meaning of the word “is” seems to be a recurring motif with Democrats in power.
This was a trend started by Bill Clinton, who was lawyerly at best when defining what exactly his relationship with a White House intern “is.”
Much like Clinton, Vice President Harris seems to have the same problem regarding the word.
She recently told the press the southern border IS secure, after which she rephrased her statement, claiming “secure” in this instance, means it’s our nation’s priority at the time.
Harris boasts “secure” southern border, despite massive influx of illegal aliens
What this effectively means is our border is, in fact, “secure,” so long as we ignore what the word means.
If we take Biden’s handling of the border situation into account, one might even claim it’s clearly not one of our top priorities at the time either.
EXCLUSIVE: The U.S. will have 2 million people cross its border for the first time. @VP: “We have a secure border in that that is a priority. … But there are still a lot of problems that we are trying to fix given the deterioration that happened over the last four years.” pic.twitter.com/qURFBYGNfx

Naturally, everyone else who likes to employ common sense in their daily lives is fully aware the border is anything but secure. Reports show the number of illegal immigrant apprehensions this year has broken every record in the books.
Hilariously enough, despite the Biden administration’s claims they have got the situation under control, all of these immigration spikes can be traced back to a series of policies implemented on Biden’s Inauguration Day.
There have been four million illegal aliens detained in the 19 months since that happened.
This also means well over two million of those immigrants actually made their way into the US, practically obsoleting the entirety of the border that previous administrations tried to secure.
Kamala Harris thinks the border is “secure.”
Liberal mayors think their cities are safe.
And Joe Biden thinks inflation is temporary.
How can anyone believe them?

DHS Secretary Mayorkas declares the border “secure”
Unfortunately, Harris isn’t alone in boasting about the border’s “security.”
The next culprit is Alejandro Mayorkas, Department of Homeland Security Secretary, who declared the border “secure” multiple times, even though reports showed the exact opposite.
Taking into account both Harris and Mayorkas’ claims regarding the border, it becomes clear their definition of “secure” isn’t specified with proper obstruction and deportation that would make illegal crossing impossible.
It is rather defined by having quick and easy ways for anyone seeking asylum to be resettled in the US.
Kamala Harris says the border is secure.
Kamala Harris is a boldface liar.

This “definition” of a secure border directly opposes the Secure Fence Act of 2006.
This defined border security as the prevention of all unlawful entries into the US, which is a stark contrast to Mayorkas’ ushering everyone in a “safe and humane” fashion.
The White House’s new definition of border security has nothing to do with a secure border anymore.
It is even in support of hauling these illegal border crossers to “sanctuary cities” across the US, drawing a tangent between Clinton’s claims there’s “nothing going on” between him and intern Monica Lewinsky.
